Events

In the days 7th - 10th October 2004 European Conference WOOL OF EUROPE - EAST AND WEST organized by The Romney Cooperative of the Czech Republic and the European Wool Group in cooperation with Ministry for Regional Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Shep and Goat breeders Association, Textile testing Institute, Research Institute of Animal Production in Prague, with the support of the minister of agriculture, the president of the regional council Vysocina and Municipality Namest nad Oslavou, in the beautiful surrounding of local castle, took place.

I am glad I had the opportunity to meet the people from Europe, hear about their experiences with wool, and also to take the nice enjoyment from the good prepared exhibition.

Visitors of the exhibition could see the presentation of spinning, weaving, felting and shearing.
