Tensioned Lazy Kate

All spin-wheels include simple Lazy Kate for plying - twisting two or more singles into one thread of yarn, which then doesn't twist and make loops.

Lubricating oil [BTO]

Transparent 15ml squeeze bottle. Convenient 32mm blunt needle applicator for hard to reach bobbin and flyer bearings. (The drive wheel with ball bearings is not lubricated, the bearings are self-lubricating).

The bottle contains non-staining, high grade, aromatic-free, transparent mineral lubricating oil classified as non-hazardous.

Sliding Hook Flyer Jumbo Double Drive [SHFJDD]

Fibreglass arms make this flyer light and strong. Orifice 15mm. The flyer is available natural or lacquer and includes one bobbin. Update your double drive Traditional, Traveller and Elizabeth spinning wheels. Kit also includes reducer bush so you can use your standard flyer without changing bearings.

High speed double drive whorl [HSDDW]

To spin very thin yarns, you need to get a lot of twist into the yarn. And so that it doesn't take forever, it's a good idea to choose the highest possible spindle speed, hence the highest possible gear ratio. So if you find out over time that not even your smallest pulley is not small enough for you, this high-speed pulley is the ideal solution for you. At the same time, you can see why it is good to have a spinner with a double drive (it is not possible with a single drive simply replace the pulley itself) and with the largest possible drive wheel. Gear ratios in the following table shows how many spindle revolutions you make with one step on the treadle.
